with new location at The Market Common, Myrtle Beach.

announce they have finalized the terms of a business agreement with
independently owned and operated Cooper Penny of Charleston, South
Carolina (www.shopcopperpenny.com)
to open a new location at The Market Common, Myrtle Beach, located in
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, scheduled to open 2007. This will be the
sixth location for Copper Penny and the first to the Myrtle Beach
area.
Chic, high fashion clothing and shoes for women was the
hallmark of Penny Vaigneur’s first Copper Penny store, which opened in Mount
Pleasant, South Carolina almost twenty years ago. Vaigneur, a formal model
who also worked in retail and served as both a personal shopper and bridal
consultant, felt she had a lot to offer her hometown community. Recognizing
the need for a trendy, fashion forward shop, she combined her passion for
the industry with her personal dream. Today, Vaigneur finds herself
accompanied by her husband and three sons. Over the past six years, Copper
Penny has expanded to include three clothing stores, two shoe stores, and a
couture bridal salon located in Charleston and Mount Pleasant, South
Carolina.
Copper Penny targets the fashion conscious woman by meeting
the needs of both mothers and daughters through offering clothing, shoes and
accessories by all the top contemporary designers.
Copper Penny has received numerous awards and credits
acknowledging the stores’ continuing success in the industry including “Best
Boutique” in Charleston for the past three years. Copper Penny Shooz was
ranked one of the “Top 15 shoe stores in America” by the premier fashion
