The purpose of the company is to add value
through the opportunistic acquisition and subsequent development
or redevelopment of land or buildings in high quality urban
locations. McCaffery Interests targets such opportunities in
what are typically identified as 24-hour cities. Upon
acquisition, the company will focus on identifying a creative
solution for the re-use of the property that addresses the
fundamental real estate attributes of the asset. Typical
targeted properties include locational characteristics including
high pedestrian traffic; within or adjacent to vibrant shopping
districts; proven residential and/or office appeal; access to
public transportation; and proximity to cultural or sporting
activities.
McCaffery Interests has identified an
investment niche in which it has had extraordinary success and
the company will continue its development and redevelopment
activity within that niche. It will also seek to exploit other
opportunities that our experience has shown to be complimentary
or necessary for continuation of our existing investment niche.
Those opportunities will include urban parking, office and
residential uses. |
